I lube all the o-rings on the thing every time I clean and re-assemble it. They tell you not to overtighten, but you can tighten it more than you may think without trouble. Try using some keg lube on the O-rings and screwing it down a bit more tightly. I've never had a leak yet though, but I worry about it every time. It's definitely the weak point of the Brew Bucket design. I'm usually fighting with it to seal properly and will start to unscrew itself and leak when you rotate the spigot. The downside is the price, where if you spend a little more you could get one of their conical unitanks instead. Love the concept of the welded bulkhead, so you don't have to worry about getting the spigot screwed on just right (sensing a theme to my comments here). The Flex+ looks great and has all the bells and whistles (plus I love me some Spike gear).
My main gripe with it is the weldess bulkhead for the spigot. The conical bottom is nice as well when racking as the trub is pretty compacted there. It has a more compact design than the Anvil or Flex, so can fit in a smaller fridge or fermentation chamber. I have never had an issue getting it to not leak, especially when rotating it. It also has the best weldless bulkhead I've seen for the spigot. Have you looked at the Anvil bucket fermenters? They are reasonably priced and good quality.
